Grandma and Grandpa came for a highly anticipated visit and we braved the crowds at Town Square. Played in the play houses at the park, savored frozen lemonade while we shopped at H&M and Sanrio, ate some Japanese at Kabuki and watched the fountain. All in all, a lovely day!

The 100th Day of Kindergarten
This girl just celebrated her 100th day of kindergarten!
In honor of the 100th day of kindergarten, the class was assigned a t-shirt project. The only rule? Decorate any shirt with 100 pieces of anything and wear it to school today! This is what Hannah designed (with a little help from mom).
100 flowers for 100 days |
Here she is in her delightful creation. It was easy. I got everything at Michael's, even the t-shirt. I just bought a heart-shaped cookie cutter and held it against the shirt. Hannah filled the inside area with fabric glue and then we glued these tiny white flowers to fill up the heart (we overlapped a lot). I found two bags of 50-pc tiny white flowers in the bridal section at Michael's. Easy as pie!
